Following two-years of planning and applications, one of the first steps of our newly registered branch was to start our Educate Programme Campaign, to provide academic education to children, as well as providing transferable skills and expertise in sex education, drug abuse, self-harm, suicide, etc. to prevent harm and safeguard children.
Educational Workshops for Trainers 2018
Held 3 programmes on "Strengthening the Family, Strengthening Society" for Trainers in 2018
Panah Children Charity's Goals:
Training staff, volunteers, social workers and psychologists active in public and governmental organisations.
Transfer of knowledge and skills to managerial levels and in order to empower these levels in making constructive decisions.
Increased awareness of parents and the general public to protect children.
The groups that participated in this course were:
Parents of socially damaged families and survivors of heavy drugs residing at the center of the rising desertification.
A group of parents and enthusiasts in the Abdul Abad neighbourhood.
A group of parents from different regions of Karaj at the Yoga Center.
Meer Center Coaches Group, TOLO Celebration.
Psychologists and health counsellors of different regions of the municipality of Tehran.
A group of coaches working in the Association for the Protection of the Rights of the Child.
Parent and children's group under the control of Kayana Karaj center.
Classes for teens and children focused on the following:
Understanding emotions
Manage feelings like anger, love and hatred
Strengthening social skills and friendship skills
Education for the prevention of physical and AIDS diseases
Held two x 7-week long programmes, each costing £10,094 (£100 per person). The objective was to provide accredited education and training to employees, volunteers, social workers and psychologists, for various NGOs and Government Bodies, in safeguarding children by educating them and their families.
Panah Children Charity's Educate Programme consisted of the following four sections:
Provision of academic education for all children who are not eligible for state-education, or require financial and practical support to fulfil their educational potential.
Provision of psychological, health and well-being education, workshops and outreach programmes for the children at risk.
Provision of education (preferably accredited) and training of volunteers, employees, teachers, staff, social workers and psychologists for various NGOs and Government Bodies in safeguarding children and the above topics.
Improving the education of parents and the transfer of skills and expertise to management and decision makers, in order to help them make better decisions, in provision of funding and training of their volunteers and staff.
What Panah Children Charity undertook was unique and very important. Hopefully through public and corporate sponsorships and donations our charity is able to support the children who are currently subjected to lack of education and such tragedies.
The First Programme, 18th July 2016
This was a 7-week programme, with 100 attendees.The participating organisations of this programme included, the Ministry of Education, Social Services, Psychologists and Omid-e-Mehr Charity.
The Second Programme, 3rd December 2016
This was a 7-week programme, with 133 attendees.The participating organisations of this programme included, the Ministry of Education and Social Services Karaj.
