Dr Nejad is a Co-Founder and Trustee of Panah since 2009. She studied Agriculture at Writtle College University in Chelmsford, before going to Reading for her Masters in International Marketing. She qualified in International Marketing and Management PhD from Cranfield University 1995. Dr Nejad has 25 years’ experience in supporting young students and overall 18 years’ experience as a Governor at Field’s Early Year’s Centre and Ridgefield Primary Schools, being underprivileged areas of the city. 3 years key worker for young people at the Railway House project, a shelter project for homeless teenage and young people at risk. Dr Nejad is great believer in excellence in education and raising quality standards and expertise.
Mr Fani is a Co-Founder and Trustee of Panah since 2009. Mr Fani is a Qualified Civil Engineer and has worked in property development project management. Mr Fani and Dr Nejad have been married since 1981 and have three children, two have completed University and one aged sixteen. Mr Fani is passionate in his support for the children in need and has dedicated last eight years of his income as a legacy for charitable work. His first focus was to fund payments of treatment for children with terminal illnesses and those living in poverty. He is a great advocate and supporter of focusing on Health, Education and creating opportunities for young people.
Mrs Ebrahimi is the treasurer and a trustee of Panah. She has been very active in fundraising activities for charities and has devoted most of her free time to Panah since its inception in 2009. Mrs Ebrahimi has been working in the finance sections of the local government since 1998 and currently works in the finance division of the Cambridge City Council. Mrs Ebrahimi loves working with children and has several professional qualifications in childcare. In addition to raising two daughters, Mrs Ebrahimi has extensive experience in working with children since early 1990s.
Mrs Tari is a trustee of Panah. She graduated in Educational Psychology with a MA degree and has 30 years’ experience of working as an educational consultant. She had volunteered in collaboration with Panah since its foundation in 2009.
Ahmad is the founder of ICC Relief in Australia and is working together with Panah Ltd., UK. Ahmad graduated from Curtin University in Australia and has been working within the mining industry over 10 years in engineering and leadership sectors. Ahmad has two children and he is passionate about supporting education and healthcare for children that come from families of deprived sectors of the society. He has been part of Oxfam since 2009, part of Yavaran since 2017 with child sponsorship programme, and recently joined MSF charity - which is why ICC Relief will become the head-office for child sponsorships to share the love with people that would like to be part of this journey. He firmly believes that charities can bring significant change in society and believes in providing equal opportunities to all children.
Mrs Khanzadeh is the founder and president of a non-governmental campaign for amputees and people with injured hands. She has a degree in Microbiology and has 11 years of voluntary work experience in helping underprivileged families and rehabilitation boot-camps for drug addiction. Mrs Khanzadeh initially set up a group of volunteers to help a 16 year old boy who had lost both of his hands during a power-cut in April 2018. Now there are 63 people who are registered as having requested for help; Mrs Khanzadeh, along with the volunteers has managed to provide more than 42 prosthetic hands already. The process is under the supervision of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) and a qualified medical group.
