All children deserve a childhood beyond the stigma of poverty and abuse, with access to good education. Luckily I found a charity doing fantastic work for children in need and have delivered donors' money, directly to those that need it the most.
My challenge was a 3,000km Solo Trek from Qeshm in the Persian Gulf, to Gorgan on the Caspian Sea. The aim was, to raise money to support Panah Children Charity's work to help the children in need.
For my part, I planned, financed and completed a distance of 3,000 km, crossing deserts and mountains en route. My challenge started on the 10th October 2016 and finished 101 days later, in February 2017.
All the funds raised, have already been distributed to remote children care homes and charity centres along the route for their education and sports' facilities, as well as projects carried out by Panah Children Charity afterwards.
My challenge took me through:
Bandar Abbas - Lar - Darab - Shiraz - Yasouj - Samiram - Broujerd - Shahreh Kord - Isfahan - Kashan - Arak - Malaya - Hamedan - Saveh - Tehran - Firooz Kooh - Shamirzad - Sari - Behshahr - Bandareh Torkaman - ending in Gorgan.
